Get outdoors

i always forget that outside is good when i spend too much time indoors. the same way i always forget how much i love climbing when i am not. this corner is to remember who i am. i see, i suffer, i learn, i paint. so i don’t need to go through the cycle again. but i always forget.

forgetting is part of who i am. to re-experience and live things again and again. watching shows over and over again, i get to experience a show i know i loved for the first time again.

painting helps me remind myself of who i am on a essential level. as the painters who painted cave walls, i get to paint on canvases, to plaster who i am on the walls.

i love my creations, no matter size or shape. most of the times i don’t even know what i am going to paint before its finished and i put down the brush.

remind yourself of who you are by following what evokes feelings within you.

and get outdoors.

love,

Amanda
